Questions
Everything you need to know before your first ride.
Try us out with 3 rides for $29. It's a great way to experience different class formats and find what works for you. Book online, through the CycleBar app, or call us at (571) 604-5566.
Show up 15 minutes early so we can check you in, give you a quick tour, get you set up with shoes, and adjust your bike. Wear comfortable workout clothes you'd wear to any gym. Bring a water bottle if you have one, but we have water stations in the studio. That's it.
Nope. We have cycling shoes you can use:
If you want to bring your own, our pedals are dual-sided and work with Delta/Look and SPD cleats.
We run five different ride formats:
Not sure which one to try? Classic is where most people start.
Yes. When you book through the app or website, you choose your bike number. Want to ride next to a friend? Just ask which bike they picked and grab the one beside it.
We offer single class purchases, multi-class packages, and unlimited monthly memberships. Memberships are month-to-month with 30 days notice to cancel. No long-term contracts.
If you need to pause for any reason (travel, medical, life stuff), we offer a membership freeze for $15/month. Your credits stay safe and your rate stays locked.
For current pricing, call us at (571) 604-5566 or email ashburn@cyclebar.com.
We're at 20020 Ashbrook Commons Plaza, Suite 119, Ashburn, VA 20147 (inside Ashbrook Commons Plaza). Free parking right in the plaza lot.
A late cancellation costs $15. That applies any time you cancel within 12 hours of the class start time.
Members get one free cancellation a month for emergencies. Just let us know before class starts and we'll waive it. If class has already started, the fee comes back to you as an account credit you can spend on anything except membership dues.
A no-show is $20, and that one we can't waive.
If something comes up, cancel the booking even at the last minute and it drops to the $15 late cancel fee instead.
Our ride room has 35 bookable bikes.
You pick your exact bike when you book, and we'll fit it to you before your first ride. It's a full room without being a crowded one, so you can always see the instructor and nobody's riding on top of anybody.
Come into the studio and fill out a cancellation form. We need 30 days written notice, so once management processes the signed form your membership ends 30 days from that date.
You'll owe the very next invoice and nothing after it. Virginia law also gives you the right to cancel a brand new membership within three business days for a full refund.
Yes. You can freeze a recurring membership for up to 2 months at a time for $15 a month, starting the first day of the freeze.
One thing to know: you can't cancel while you're frozen. The membership has to come off freeze and be charged once first, and that payment then counts as the past invoice for your cancellation.
Members arriving more than 5 minutes after the start time can't be admitted to class, and first-time riders can't be admitted once class has started.
Come 15 minutes early for your first ride so we can get your shoes and set up your bike without rushing.
